ORPHEUS Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone

The ORPHEUS is a studio workhorse with omni, cardioid, and figure-8 patterns, as well as a 10dB cut/boost function. It is an excellent choice for practically every live sound or studio application. The ORPHEUS has an unmistakable presence, and its low self-noise enables recording of the most subtle voices or instruments without the need for excessive postproduction.

ORPHEUS has a 1.07-inch dual-diaphragm capsule fixed on a unique mounting system, giving it an almost weightless appearance inside its large, spherical basket. The zinc alloy body reduces resonance to near zero and keeps signals crystal-clear. ORPHEUS is a solid choice for vocals, acoustic guitar, and piano. It also performs well when capturing drum overheads (especially in omni mode), bass drum, choir and orchestral recording (using two in +10dB in omni mode), and as a direct microphone for tom-toms.

The ORPHEUS is available in Classic Silver finish with black lettering. It is packaged in a fine wooden case lined with black velvet.
